EVIL EYE is an independent zine press in pursuit of a subaltern anti-hegemonic ideological production.
based in Manaháhtaan (tl: the place where we gather wood to make bows) in Lenapehoking —
the unceded and ancestral lands of the Canarsie, Munsee Lenape, and Wappinger peoples.
Our operation borrows its name from the curse transmitted by a malevolent gaze, and its warding amulet. EVIL EYE stakes its work in the tension between opposing forces—where harm and protection, negation and affirmation, are held in balance.
